An innovative special edition Amrut whisky, Amrut Naarangi is made by maturing a three-year-old Amrut whisky for a further three years in Oloroso sherry casks that had previously been used to macerate orange peels.
Bottled at a staunch 50%, Amrut Naarangi is of course deeply infused with a rich natural orange flavour alongside the traditional sherry notes, and at 6 years old, Amrut Naarangi is one of the most ancient of Amrut's regular editions, thanks to an angel's share loss of around 12% annually.
