An old litre bottle of Glenfiddich Special Old Reserve Pure Malt, the iconic benchmark for the lighter style of Speyside single malt whisky. These bottles have been bottled at the higher strength of 43%, so were probably for export or travel retail.
Glenfiddich Special Old Reserve Pure Malt was the pre-eminent popular entry-level single malt on the market throughout the 1980s and 1990s before being replaced by Glenfiddich 12-year-old soon after the turn of the millennium. A splendid everyday dram, these older Glenfiddich bottles are fascinating to taste nowadays and of course modern Glenfiddich remains an essential dram for anyone starting out on their single malt journey.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.
