Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 70cl / 56.4%
This is the first release in Arran's new 'Illicit Stills' series. Inspired by the proud history of illicit distillation throughout the Western Isles, this comes in a fun and fancy book-style packaging with the 'index' revealing the component liquids that went into the whisky's makeup.
This includes a fair amount of peated malt to give it an old-style, authentic flourish. A rich, spicy, phenolic and slightly fruity dram that is delicious and quite fun.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
