The Single Cask Ltd is an independent bottler of single malt Scotch whisky founded by Ben Curtis, a Hong Kong-based wine importer who had caught the whisky bug after becoming Glenfarclas’s importer and tasting Glenfarclas 105 for the first time.

The first The Single Cask bottlings appeared around 2010, with Curtis founding a whisky shop and bar in Singapore in 2015 and establishing a UK base in Glenrothes the following year. At the time of writing in 2024, The Single Cask has bottled well over 400 individual single cask whiskies, all released at cask strength without colouring or chill filtration, including well regarded long-aged casks from Caol Ila, Ben Nevis and Ledaig.
