Batch 19/062 is a 2001 Caol Ila bottled in 2019 by G&M for their new and improved Connoisseur's Choice range. G&M have also spiced things up and bottled this one at a natural strength instead of the usual 46%.
It was matured for 17 years in a refill American hogshead that yielded just 216 bottles.
Just how we like it - vanilla sweetness, maple bacon and sea salt with intense peat.

Official Tasting Notes Nose: Fragrant vanilla followed by maple bacon. Palate: Creamy; interrupted by bursts of chilli spice with charred oak and sea salt flavours. Finish: Intense peat smoke.
