A single cask Caol Ila 2011 6-year-old Islay single malt whisky bottled in 2018 without colouring or chill filtration by Douglas Laing for the Coastal Collection of their Provenance series, which are always great value whiskies.
This 6-year-old Caol Ila 2011 came from single cask 12615, a refill hogshead cask that yielded a generous 405 bottles at a hearty drinking strength of 48%. A fresh, robust young Caol Ila, perfect for livening up a winter walk.
Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.

2 bottles of this lovely single malt were bought as gifts. Sampled a couple of drams from one bottle and it went well above expectations. The quality, integrity, natural colour, cask strength ABV and value-for-money made these bottles 'no-brainers'.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
