Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 50cl / 58.4%
A half-litre (50cl) bottling of a single cask of Edradour's peated Highland single malt whisky Ballechin.
This Edradour Ballechin 2011 12-year-old Straight From The Cask came from single cask 260, an Oloroso sherry cask that turned out 850 half-litre bottles at its impressively potent 58.4% natural cask strength. Ballechin has been picking up a growing following for some years now and is highly recommended for any peat fans looking to expand their phenolic palates.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
