The entire Signatory 100 proof series has revealed some astonishing value whisky; this one wasn’t in the sub £50 bracket as per most of its siblings, hence the 4*. I’m not going to review it as I really don’t want everyone else jumping on the bandwagon and pushing up the price.
PS try the Speyside 13 which is a gem; I’m only telling you as I have 5 bottles already.
Just opened this bottle and have to say this is one of the finest whiskies I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommended.
I’ve tried a few whiskies by The Lakes and this one doesn’t taste as good as others but is very good value for money.
