A fantastic single cask, cask strength, Allt-A-Bhainne single malt scotch whisky bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for their new and improved Connoisseurs Choice series.
G&M have also spiced things up and bottled this one at a natural strength instead of the usual 46%. It was matured for 22 years in a refill American hogshead that yielded 277 bottles.
The Connoisseurs Choice series is an iconic whisky range that started in 1968. To date, around 100 distilleries have been featured as part of the series, with over 2,000 individual bottlings. Each label on each bottle states all the information about the whisky inside such as cask type, strength, region, vintage and tasting notes.
