These whiskies are no-nonsense stuff, as the name and the marvellously utilitarian label suggest. None of your fancy finishes here. They're also great drams and ridiculously good value, so if you're a fan of Islay whisky this secret Islay single malt is well worth a punt.

I have had only 2 bottles of as we get it berry hard to get here in Canada it’s not import sadly ! That I’m aware of it’s superb to all scotch I’ve drank ❤️❤️❤️🙏

Birthday Gift
For the past couple of years I have bought it for a mate. She will not share this malt with family or friends and offers them a lesser potion instead. She reserves it for herself only. That speaks volumes about its delectability. I do not drink whisky but can put you in contact with my connoisseur friend if that helps

Ian Macleod’s As we get it. Islay
A cracking whisky this, smokey, but not overpoweringly so, just enough if you don’t like too much of the smoke. It’s got a great kick to it, averaging 60%, this really belts you on swallowing. I find this , and it’s counterpart the Highland version, a fantastic dram with a bit of a challenge , the high percentage adds to it’s perfection. Great stuff !
