An old bottle of Bowmore 15-year-old Mariner, this screen-printed edition is an early release from the mid-to-late 1990s, soon after Mariner was introduced.
Bowmore Mariner was originally created to take pressure off the distillery's 17-year-old, which enjoyed a surge in popularity in the 1990s. The name Mariner was a reference to the predominantly American oak ex-bourbon casks used in the assemblage, though a small number of sherry casks were also used to add complexity.
