A rare 1998 Springbank 14-year-old Duty Paid Sample from the famous cage at the distillery shop in Campbeltown.
This single cask Springbank 1998 14-year-old is also notable for the cask type - a refill Port cask, but a hogshead rather than the more traditional (and larger) port pip, so the pipe must have been recoopered into a hogshead, giving more surface area to volume which in turn means that the cask has more influence in a shorter amount of time.
