St. Magdalene is one of Scotland's greatest lost distilleries, and this superb BBR single cask really shows the scale of the loss. A wonderfully complex Lowland malt, with a breathtakingly varied palate encompassing citrus, orchard and tropical fruit - think grapefruit, orange, melon, peach and pear - balanced by prominent nuttiness and hints of herby, mineral notes. A dazzling dram.
