Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 55.6%
A single cask Strathisla 2008 15-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2024 by Gordon & MacPhail at full strength and without colouring or chill filtration for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength series.
This cask strength 15-year-old Strathisla 2008 came from single cask 21600502, which was a first fill sherry hogshead that yielded 331 bottles at its very sturdy natural cask strength of 55.6%. Strathisla is one of those magical Speysiders that can withstand phenomenally long ageing even in sherry casks - this 15-year-old will still have plenty of freshness and life, and at full strength this will be a big, rich sherrybomb.
