A special 20-year-old limited edition of Douglas Laing's hugely popular Timorous Beastie Highland blended malt whisky, released in early 2022.

As with the standard bottling, we don't know what distilleries have been used for the Timorous Beastie recipe - but we do know that just 297 bottles of this 20-year-old Timorous Beastie were released at what we're going to presume was a natural strength of 42.7%. As ever with Douglas Laing, the whole package looks great and the whisky has been bottled without colouring or chill filtration, so this is odds-on to be a tremendous drop, timorous or otherwise.

Nose: On the nose, anticipate toasted marshmallow sweetness mingling with malted barley and white chocolate.

Palate: The palate delivers big impact – complex spices and sweet, oaky depth run to a finish that boasts immense vanilla, spicy cinnamon and sawn wood.
