An entry-level no-age-statement Arran single malt whisky, Arran Barrel Reserve first appeared in 2019 and is aged entirely in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 43% in the distillery's eye-catching hefty bottles.

Arran make a great spirit: clean and well-structured, it's well suited to bourbon maturation and sufficiently characterful when bottled young to make a great aperitif whisky. A great intro to the distillery.

Nose: Delicate apples and pears.

Palate: Beautifully balanced citrus fruit and light vanilla sweetness with a burst of apple and delicate marine notes.
