This Highland Park 12-year-old was released towards the end of a golden era for Highland Park fans, when the distillery's core range was straightforward, fantastic value for money and HP's whisky rated by many contemporary whisky fans as even higher quality than its stablemate Macallan.
The tall bottle 12-year-old and 18-year-old Highland Parks released in this period are absolutely superb drams and still offer great bang for your buck.
