A fresh 11-year-old Clynelish 1989, bottled over 20 years ago in 2000 by Douglas Laing as one of the earliest releases for what was then their shiny new Provenance series.
Although we don't know how many bottles of this there were, nor what type of cask it was from (though most likely refill), Clynelish 1989 in general is usually very good, and the tasting notes promise a maritime tinge to the palate with salt and seaweed notes and a nice oily texture.
