Description

Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 48.4%

A single cask ‘Probably Orkney’s Finest’ 2007 12-year-old Island single malt whisky bottled in 2020 without colouring or chill filtration by Douglas Laing for their excellent Old Particular series. This was an exclusive cask for Dutch retailers Gall & Gall.

This Old Particular 12-year-old Probably Orkney’s Finest 2007 came from single cask 14419, a refill hogshead cask that yielded a nice round 300 bottles at the Old Particular standard bottling strength of 48.4%, just under 85 proof in the old UK Imperial system. There’s only a couple of Orkney distilleries, and while this price would be a bargain for either of them, you can be sure it's not Scapa.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.
