Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 70cl / 44.1%
Benriach Vestige is the holy grail of Benriach: one of only two casks that remain from the takeover of the distillery in 2012.
This bottling was named Vestige because it represents a moment in time, a small trace of something very special that, once lost, can never be replaced.
Cask number 238 of Benriach 1966 yielded only 62 bottles and is truly a piece of the distillery's history.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
