Another multi-award winning Bourbon from the Buffalo Trace stable. The gold medal-winning single Barrel is aged exclusively in Warehouse C, which was built by Taylor in 1881 and proven to be an excellent ageing warehouse.
Each barrel is hand-picked and Bottled in Bond at 100 proof to honour its namesake. 2014 Gold Medal, Best American Bourbon Whiskey.
Tasting Notes
Official Tasting Notes Nose: The aroma carries lightly toasted oak, with dried figs and butterscotch. Palate: One sip brings flavours of sweetness balanced with tobacco and dark spices. Finish: The finish is just long enough to prepare the palette for another sip.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
