A single cask Glen Scotia 2000 23-year-old Campbeltown single malt whisky bottled at full strength in 2024 by Gordon & MacPhail without colouring or chill filtration for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range.
This 23-year-old Glen Scotia 2000 matured in a refill American hogshead number 329, yielding 208 bottles at its natural cask strength of 56.2%. Glen Scotia gets a bit more of the respect it deserves these days but is still an undiscovered gem for many whisky fans - this would be a great place to start.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
