An old bottle of Glenrothes 1998 vintage edition bottled at 43% back in 2011.
Glenrothes defied the orthodoxy for many years by only releasing their whisky with distillation and bottling dates rather than age statements. This 1998 vintage is around 12 years old and is a lovely medium-full Speyside dram with delicious citrus and patisserie notes balanced by perky spices.
