A single cask Longmorn 2011 13-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2024 without colouring or chill flirtation by Hannah Whisky Merchants for their Lady of the Glen range.
This 13-year-old Longmorn 2013 started life in a refill sherry butt before being transferred to a first fill Pedro Ximenez sherry hogshead cask for a 17-month finishing period. Cask 1721 turned out a total of 297 bottles at its impressively robust natural cask strength of 58.2%. A well-sherried Speyside whisky that should be ideal for chilly winter days.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
