A single cask Macduff 2009 15-year-old Highland single malt whisky bottled in 2024 without colouring or chill filtration by Hannah Whisky Merchants for their Lady of the Glen range.
This 15-year-old Macduff 2009 began its maturation in a hogshead before being transferred for a 20 month finishing period in a first fill Pedro Ximenez sherry cask. Cask 4089 yielded a total of 271 bottles at its natural cask strength of 55.2%. A robust Highland whisky with a pleasingly sweet side.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
