This 2023 edition of Michter's 10-year-old is from Barrel #L23B0581, which was bottled at 92.8 US proof, equivalent to 46.4%. These single barrel ryes are frequently sourced stock and vary from release to release but are generally redolent of dark chocolate, vanilla, berry fruit, caramel and patisserie spices, with a herby, grassy tang from the rye grains.

I’ve been fortunate to try about half of this series so far, the majority in sherry and this is by far the cleanest, richest and juiciest of the lot. I’m amazed it’s still available!!
I bought this for my dads Christmas present. I opened it up to check everything is okay before wrapping it up again. It's a great size for my dad and will look good on display. You can get these whisky barrels from menkind but at a much higher price.
