Linkwood is one of those lucky few distilleries and it's no exaggeration to say that the majority of the greatest bottlings from this tremendous distillery have appeared in G&M colours, with some of the most memorable being Linkwood 25-year-olds.
This Linkwood 25-year-old by Gordon & MacPhail for the Distillery Labels series has a sherry-influenced character and benefited greatly from the well-received decision to up the strength of these bottlings to 46%, allowing the flavours to sparkle even more brightly.

Nose: Rich sherry aromas accompany subtle aniseed and cherries.
Palate: Sweet, smooth fruitcake evolves into stewed fruit and toasted hazelnuts.
Finish: A long finish of lingering charred oak.
