Gold Bowmore 1964 44-year-old was bottled in 2009 as the conclusion of the third Bowmore 1964 Trilogy series, following 2007's Black Bowmore 42-year-old and 2008's White Bowmore 43-year-old.
A combination of three ex-bourbon casks and a single Oloroso cask all filled in 1964, this 44-year-old Gold Bowmore was the oldest official Bowmore ever bottled at the time and rewarded avid fans with an exquisite avalanche of tropical fruit.
An endlessly complex, compelling and flavoursome whisky, Gold Bowmore stands among the best 1960s Bowmores, with a fully deserved reputation as some of the finest whiskies ever bottled.
