An old single cask Port Ellen 1982 25-year-old Old & Rare Platinum Selection Islay single malt whisky bottled by Douglas Laing without colouring or chill filtration for The Whisky Shop in 2007.

This single cask Port Ellen was an edition of just 226 bottles at its natural cask strength of 54.8%. Douglas Laing bottled an extraordinary number of Port Ellen casks in the early years of the millennium, but only the finest casks were reserved for the Old & Rare Platinum Selection. This one is a classic, with the perfect combination of sweetness, smoke, citrus and sea spray.
