Eunson's Legacy was a special edition bottling of Highland Park 12-year-old released in 1998 as part of the distillery's Bicentenary celebrations. The Eunson in question here, of course, is Magnus Eunson, an 18th century butcher by day, preacher at weekends and smuggler at night, who is one of the possible founders of the Highland Park distillery.

Eunson is known to have had a moonshining bothy on the site where Highland Park now stands and also famously used to hid his illicit spirit under the church pulpit to keep it away from prying Customs officers. Highland Park 12-year-old was at one of its frequent zeniths in the late 1990s when this was bottled, and this is a terrific dram.
