This Murray McDavid Dailuaine Koval Quarter Cask Bourbon Finish was released in late 2022 as part of the company's launch of its new Cask Craft series, a range of great value cask finished NAS malts bottled at 44.5%.
As the name suggests, this Cask Craft Dailuaine was finished by Murray McDavid in an ex-bourbon quarter cask from the Koval distillery in Chicago - a far cry from the sherry casks Dailuaine is more accustomed to, and just the kind of adventurous thinking the Cask Craft series is designed to showcase.

The quarter casks from Koval Distillery are small, quickly mellowing the Dailuaine spirit to produce a creamy and sweet whisky, full of fresh flavours of vanilla, crisp apple, ripe mango, sweet malt with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
