A rare single cask Glenglassaugh 1978 Highland single malt whisky bottled as a 35-year-old without colouring or chill filtration back in 2014 for the first batch of the distillery's Rare Cask Releases.
This special edition 1978 Glenglassaugh 35-year-old was hand-selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker early on in his brief three-year reign at the distillery, during which he found some absolute gems to release. This whisky was finished in a sherry hogshead cask and yielded just 351 bottles at its natural cask strength of 41.6%.
