This 2023 Special Release Clynelish 10-year-old matured exclusively in first fill ex-bourbon casks and clocks in at a particularly potent natural cask strength of 57.5%. Clynelish is a fast-maturing spirit capable of impressive complexity at this sort of age, and a drop of water should open this dram up even further.

A richly composed, subtle example of Clynelish, elegantly imbued with rich caramel sweetness and vanilla spice while retaining excellent distillery character. Very pleasant to drink, it brings to mind a summer moorland.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
