Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Duncan Taylor 70cl / 54.3%
Time for another Dailuaine from Duncan Taylor - this is a Dailuaine 2010, bottled in 2021 as an 11-year-old at cask strength 54.3%.
This Dailuaine started out in an 'oak cask' - usually this refers to a second or third refill cask - before a finishing period of four months in one of Duncan Taylor's recoopered sherry Octave casks for a bit of extra fruity flavour. Just 92 bottles of this were yielded from the cask.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
