A special edition small batch vintage Dalmore 2003 18-year-old Highland single malt whisky released in 2022 at 46.9% as one of a pair of the distillery's annual Vintage Collection releases.
This limited edition Dalmore 2003 started life in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in a combination of casks that previously held Amoroso and Matusalem sherry, small batch bourbon and the French dessert wine Rivesaltes. The theme for the 2022 Dalmore Vintage Collection was 'warm honey spice' and this 2003 Dalmore ticks all those boxes admirably.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
