A single vintage Glen Elgin 2008, assembled from a small batch of hogshead casks by Mossburn Distillers and bottled without colour or chill filtration in 2018 at its hefty natural strength of 59%.
Glen Elgin is another Diageo distillery that doesn't get much love from whisky fans due to the lack of official bottlings, so it's great to see more indie versions appear, especially at cask strength and without too much wood influence. We've high hopes for this.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
