Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 57.4%
A UK Exclusive single cask 2008 Glen Spey 14-year-old bottled in 2022 without colouring or chill filtration by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range.
This 14-year-old Glen Spey 2008 came from Cask 16601701, a single first fill sherry hogshead with a turnout of 258 bottles at its pleasingly robust natural cask strength of 57.4%. Glen Spey is one of Scotland's most obscure distilleries, with almost the entirety of the distillery's whisky going to the J&B blend; Gordon & MacPhail have long been the best option for anyone looking for high quality examples.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
