Batch 3 of Glenallachie's Annual Release 30-year-old Speyside single malt whisky, bottled without colouring or chill filtration in 2023 from a small batch of just eight casks personally selected by Glenallachie's owner and Master Blender Billy Walker.

The cask recipe for this Glenallachie 30-year-old Batch 3 included both Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez hogsheads, balanced with a handful of virgin oak casks. Glenallachie 30-year-old Batch 3 is a limited edition of just 2400 bottles worldwide and was bottled at its natural cask strength of 48.9%, coincidentally exactly the same strength as Batch 1.

Naturally, demand for what is becoming one of the most important Speyside whisky releases of the year will far exceed the stock for sale, so our allocation will be available to VIP customers only as below.

Colour: Deeply Rich Mahogany.

Nose: Bursting with roasted almonds, honey and orchard fruits, with hints of worn leather and butterscotch, followed by orange zest and dark chocolate.

Palate: Lashings of grape must, hazelnut and honeycomb, followed by citrus fruits, toffee brittle and hints of ginger spice, with cinnamon and mocha on the finish.
