An old official bottling of Highland Park 25-year-old, this is one of the versions released at 48.1% between 2006-2012, meaning the casks used would have been filled in the early to mid-1980s.
These elegant old Highland Park 25-year-olds always had a strong sherry cask influence and the long ageing gives a mellow character, though there's plenty of intensity from the strength. A classic after-dinner dram with a welcome thread of gentle smokiness.
