Blended Scotch Whisky Bottled by: James Eadie 70cl / 45.6%
The original James Eadie whisky company was founded in 1854 and in 1877 Eadie took advantage of the new Trade Mark Registration Act, registering the red X on the label of his Special Old Scotch Whisky and creating one of whisky's first trademarks.
Well over a century later, Eadie's Trade Mark X was revived in 2017 by the modern-day James Eadie company, who have used James Eadie's original notebooks and recipes to create this new Eadie's Trade Mark X premium blended Scotch made with whisky from the distilleries Eadie favoured and bottled at a hearty 45.6%.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
