Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 70cl / 55.8%
A 19-year-old Mortlach Speyside single malt whisky bottled for Diageo's staff-only Manager's Dram series in 2002. These Manager's Dram whiskies are always very highly sought-after, as the Manager's Dram series is not made available to the general public and can only be found on the secondary market.
This Manager's Dram Mortlach 19-year-old would have been distilled in the early 1980s and was bottled at its natural cask strength of 55.8% from refill wood, hence the lighter colour. A gem for fans of gutsy Speysiders.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
