Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled By: Douglas Laing 70cl / 41.4%
A fabulous old bottle of Springbank 1967 bottled as a 33-year-old in 2001 without colouring or chill filtration by Douglas Laing back in the glory days of the Old Malt Cask collection.
This wonderful old Old Malt Cask Springbank 1967 came from a single cask that yielded 204 bottles at a natural cask strength of 41.4%. This was one of a pair of 1967 Springbanks, presumably sister casks, that were released by Douglas Laing in 2001 and they are both stunning whiskies.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
