Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Duncan Taylor 70cl / 53.9%
The trickle of promising indie Teaninich continues! Here's an 'Oak Cask' (most likely refill bourbon hogshead) matured Teaninich 2009 bottled as an 11-year-old in 2021 at its full cask strength of 53.9% by our friends at Duncan Taylor for their Dimensions series.
We're big fans of Teaninich's structured, grassy Highland spirit, and this type of bottling, with minimal wood influence should let the distillery character really sing.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
