Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Douglas Laing 75cl / 46%
A single cask Longmorn 2003 14-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled without colouring or chill filtration in 2018 by Douglas Laing for the Chairman’s Choice range within their Old Particular series.
This Chairman’s Choice 14-year-old Longmorn 2003 came from single cask 12540, a refill hogshead that yielded 327 bottles at an easy drinking 46%. This edition has a B742 classification on the label, so this was most likely originally bottled for a specific export market.
Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.

The entire Signatory 100 proof series has revealed some astonishing value whisky; this one wasn’t in the sub £50 bracket as per most of its siblings, hence the 4*. I’m not going to review it as I really don’t want everyone else jumping on the bandwagon and pushing up the price.
PS try the Speyside 13 which is a gem; I’m only telling you as I have 5 bottles already.
