Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 4.5 Litres 54.2%
A massive 'Mor'-sized 4.5 Litre bottle of Ardbeg Uigeadail islay single malt whisky, this was a limited edition bottled in 2013 without colouring or chill filtration at a hefty 54.2%.
One of the great things about Ardbeg Uigeadail is the subtle variation from batch to batch with some displaying more unctuous sherry fattiness and others having a more bruised, smoky quality from higher bourbon influence. The quality remains constant though and this is a rare chance to get one of these great drams in all its 'Mor'-sized glory.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
