Description

Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 54.4%

A single cask Tamdhu 1996 21-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2018 without colouring or chill filtration by Douglas Laing for their Old Particular range. This bottling was an exclusive cask strength edition for TSMC, aka Taiwan Single Malt Club.

This 21-year-old Tamdhu 1996 came from cask 12413, a refill hogshead that yielded 214 bottles at a poky 54.4%. Tamdhu has come on in leaps and bounds since being taken over by Ian Macleod Distillers in 2011, but is more usually seen in sherry casks, so this is a great opportunity for fans to try a more ‘naked’ refill hoggie version.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.
