A lovely old bottle of the no-age-statement version of Bowmore Darkest. This version was released at some point in the early 2000s, certainly before 2007 when the bottle and packaging for Bowmore's core range were updated and this bottling was discontinued, before later reappearing as a 15-year-old.
Bottled at 43%, this NAS version of Bowmore Darkest was a popular, accessible bottling showcasing the distillery's affinity with sherry casks - a sort of proletariat version of Black Bowmore, if you will. Expect delicious sherry-tinged exotic fruit and a whiff of seaspray.
