Islay Single Malt Whisky Bottled By: Distillery 70cl / 46%
An old bottle of Kilchoman's Winter 2010 release, an early bottling from the distillery, which had only commenced operations in the middle of 2005.
Kilchoman Winter 2010 was assembled entirely from a large batch of first fill bourbon casks and was released at 46% without colouring or chill filtration in an edition of 15,850 bottles. A lively, clean, fresh, peaty Islay single malt, obviously youthful but showing excellent development and bold character for what was only the distillery's fifth general release official bottling.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
