Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 70cl / 57.9%
A 20-year-old Oban 1984 bottled as a small batch for the 2004 edition of owner Diageo's Special Releases.
Oban is a distillery with a small output and very few official releases exist outside of the familiar Classic Malts bottlings. This 1984 Oban 20-year-old was a batch of just 1260 bottles at its poky natural cask strength of 57.9%, showcasing its dry, savoury, spicy Highland style to perfection - though you may need a drop of water to get the full range of flavours.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
