A single cask Tullibardine 1987 Highland single malt whisky bottled without chill filtration in June 2006 and released as part of the distillery’s John Black’s Selection.

The John Black’s Selection was an occasional series of top class casks selected by the Tullibardine distillery manager of the day, the late John Black, who had a fantastic career at distilleries including Ardbeg, Balblair and Scapa and definitely knew how to pick a cask. This Tullibardine 1987 came from single cask 664, a hogshead cask that yielded 284 bottles at a mighty natural cask strength of 57.2%, and best of all the label has been signed by John Black himself.
